Position Summary

As a member of the Neuroscience Biology team, you will work in close collaboration with leaders and scientists to ensure progression of PROTACs into clinical testing in neurologic disorders. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for performing biochemical and cellular assays to support our discovery programs in neurodegeneration. Your efforts will be essential in lead identification, target engagement and eventual development candidate identification.

This position will report to a Senior Research Investigator on our Neuroscience team and is located at our headquarters in New Haven, CT.

Principal Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform assays to measure target engagement and confirm PROTAC-induced degradation in cellular models of neurodegeneration.
  • Provide assay support to facilitate chemistry efforts in developing structure-activity relationships that guide lead identification, optimization & development candidate selection.
  • Independently analyze and communicate experimental data to team members and provide thorough documentation using an electronic lab notebook.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, including oral presentation and writing capabilities.


  • Inquisitive and highly motivated researcher with strong attention to detail
  • Capable of independent lab work
  • Communicates openly and proactively with other members of the team and
  • Basic understanding of cell biology and biochemistry
  • Ability to effectively prioritize efforts, manage time, and balance work between bench and desk


  • BS degree in biology or related discipline
