All ways for patients
At Arvinas, we're committed to giving back to both the patient communities we serve and the community in which we live – it's part of our DNA.
Giving back through volunteer groups, non-profit organizations, charity work, or other means not only helps those in need, it also contributes to the common good and improves the lives of those our work touches.
It's not just about raising money. It's about getting out there and participating in events and meeting the people in our own local community and those who are affected by the diseases we are working to potentially treat.
Check out some of the ways we're out and about engaging with our community.
Supporting Our Community During COVID-19
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
We did a lot, but all we remember is the CFO getting pie’d in support of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Walk to End Alzheimer’s
In the 2019 walk at Lighthouse Point, we raised money for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Push-ups/Planks for Prostate Cancer
To raise money for prostate cancer awareness, we did some push-ups. And planks.
Yale-New Haven Hospital Closer to Free Ride
We raised over $15,000 for the Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale, just by riding our bikes.
Biotech Pre-Thanksgiving Bowling Fundraiser
We won the “best t-shirt contest,” but more importantly, we raised money for the children’s hospitals at UCONN and Yale!
Clifford Beers Giving Tree
For our neighbors upstairs, we contributed over 100 holiday gifts to families in need.
